A black cat prowls around the house, sees the moonlight from the window. His master sleeps soundly and is not disturbed by him. He keeps a bag of fruits on the window sill and purrs happily. The cat looks into the bag and sees the moon shining on the fruit. 'Oh, how pretty', he says. He thinks about how the moon illuminates everything on earth. He watches the moon and wonders. He wants to go out of the house and sit in the moonlight. The master awakens and feels surprised to see a cat sitting by his window. He looks into the bag and sees the moon shining on the fruit and keeps wondering what the cat is doing at his window and what is the cat after. The master gets into the bed and falls asleep. He dreams of a beautiful woman. The cat finds that it is not any other but the lady he had seen in the moonlight. He finds that she is not in her dream world, but in his house and was not sleeping in the moonlight; she was lying in his bed and snoring like a lion. The cat is angry at her and jumps into the bed and embraces her but does not bite her. He tries to run away but the cat moves too fast. He sees the cat drag the lady down on the bed. He wakes up and sees that the lady is gone. He runs to the window and sees the bag of fruit on the window sill. The cat says, 'Not this time'. He walks away from the window.
